Mike Garcia's Sport Fishing

Alaska is a Fisherman's Paradise!

Join us for the legendary fishing found in and around
Alaska's famous Kenai Peninsula.
The tidal influence of Cook Inlet has created the world's richest
salmon, halibut, and rockfish grounds, where each year,
hundreds of "Barn Door" Halibut and King Salmon
are caught by both first-time and experienced sport fishermen.
The local streams and rivers also produce great fishing
for king and silver salmon, dolly varden,
rainbow trout and steelhead.

Our fishing season begins in May and runs through early September.
The halibut fishing is fantastic any time during our season.
If you are after King salmon, May and July are the best times for
saltwater combination trips.

We troll for the Kings along the beaches and at tide change we run
out a short distance into Cook Inlet for our world famous
"Barn Door" halibut. Catch rockfish and ling cod after
July 1 and silvers in August.
